Led the end-to-end UX design process, including UX audits and competitor analysis, creating user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity designs for both mobile and web, while collaborating on the design system and usability improvements.
CONTEXT
Digital Gold Ownership Simplified
UGOLD is a blockchain-based platform that enables users to own, transact, and redeem gold digitally, bridging traditional assets with modern financial infrastructure. Each token is backed by physical gold, allowing users to experience the stability of gold with the flexibility of digital finance.
The project involved designing a landing experience and product ecosystem interface that communicates trust, simplifies complex concepts like tokenized gold and DeFi, and drives user adoption across global audiences.
Problem
Breaking Trust and Clarity Gaps
Despite a strong value proposition, UGOLD faced several critical UX challenges that hindered user adoption and engagement. The concept of gold-backed cryptocurrency was difficult for users to grasp, creating confusion around its differentiation from traditional crypto. A lack of strong trust signals weakened credibility, which is essential for financial platforms. Additionally, fragmented user journeys made key actions unclear, while the landing experience failed to effectively guide users toward onboarding and investment decisions.

Intuitive Gold Investment Experience
The strategy focused on translating complexity into clarity by simplifying the concept of gold-backed digital assets into easy-to-understand narratives, while designing for financial trust through clear visual hierarchy, familiar gold-based metaphors, and structured information. It also introduced a guided user journey centered around key actions—buy, hold, use, and redeem— Innovation to create an intuitive experience for both crypto-savvy and new users.

The solution introduced a clear value proposition with a strong above-the-fold message, “Real Gold. Digital Utility.”, instantly conveying both trust and innovation. Guided journey—buy, hold, use, and redeem—making complex interactions simple and intuitive. A trust-first design system, supported by gold-inspired visuals and clean typography, reinforced credibility, while a use-case-driven approach highlighted real-world applications.
